CSGO Skins is a demonstration CS2 and CSGO case opening site. In this demo we aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Where you choose to authenticate, we may receive basic identifiers such as a public Steam ID and display name.
We may also automatically collect limited technical data such as your browser type, device information, and general usage activity relating to case opening and case battles, in order to keep the Site running and to improve the experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we collect to operate and secure the Site, to display your demo balance and inventory of cs2 skins, to remember your preferences, and to prevent fraud or abuse.
Because this is a fictional demo project, we do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties. Any processing is limited to what is necessary to present the demonstration experience.
4. Steam & Third-Party Services
If you sign in with Steam, that authentication is handled by Valve's systems and is subject to Valve's own privacy practices. We receive only the public profile information that Steam provides through the sign-in flow.
CSGO Skins is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Any references to Steam, Counter-Strike, or CS2 skins are for demonstration purposes only, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Site and for legitimate operational, legal, or security purposes. Demonstration balances and inventories may be reset or deleted at any time.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it. Data held purely on your device, such as your language preference, remains until you clear it.
